Uninstalling can not be done that way and again, the Launcher is a mess Even after reapplying the Super Patch. Of late the only easy way to install via Launcher is while in game. dbc files often which used to be an easy process. Over the years I've installed most of my 3rd party cc 3Packs via the Launcher and clean out my DCCache.
Trey, the Launcher has been behaving horribly especially after Origin updates. Maybe I'll do one more and see what happens. Has anyone seen this issue before? Without knowing how they ended up like this I'm reluctant to invest the time to replace them.
#The sims 3 store junk car how to#
They are worth about $30k each, about what I'd expect.ĭoes anyone have any ideas on how to fix them? I expect my only recourse is to sell them, but I wanted to ask. I can move them around in live mode, but cannot place them in a sim's inventory. The cars are now sitting on the grass just like before they were fixed up. I picked one up in buy mode and couldn't replace it. They also no longer will go on a parking space. The only interaction is "NRaas." The tooltip reads "+FixerCarFixed." In MC under Object Info or Object Reset>Not Inventory they are listed as "Core.FailureObject." I tried resetting them but that had no effect. Today I wanted a sim to use one and discovered the cars are borked. They snapped right on and IIRC, had all the interactions they are supposed to have. When my sims arrived home I put the cars on existing parking spaces. When my sims left I put the cars in the family inventory (at the last minute) and took them home. I bought two and had my sims fix them up completely in between classes. I recently bought Roaring Heights and decided to get the household the fixer upper car while my sims were at university.
